How to Use

1. Chill
Place the Barney Chill Pad in the fridge for at least 30–⁠60 minutes before use. For colder results, you can place it in the freezer; however, if your dog prefers a milder coolness, revert to chilling it in the fridge only.

2. Slide
Slide your Chill Pad under any Barney Slip cover and adjust so it covers the internal space of the bed (where your dog sleeps). It is recommended to use the chill pad with the waterproof lining kit.

3. Enjoy
Let your pup relax on their bed and pad to experience soothing relief from the heat.

Note: Some dogs prefer a gentle coolness rather than an extreme chill. To help your dog adjust, start by placing the Chill Pad in the fridge before introducing it from the freezer. This allows them to get used to the cooling sensation gradually while ensuring lasting comfort.

Care Instructions

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed.
Do not machine wash or immerse in water.
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
To keep the pad separate from food items in your fridge, place it inside a sealed plastic bag when chilling.

Supervise use: While the Barney Chill Pad is made with durable materials, no product is indestructible. Supervise your dog during use, especially if they are prone to chewing.
Place under a slip cover: The Barney Chill Pad is designed to be placed under any Barney slip cover (a cover with an elastic) It is not designed for your dog to sit directly on it.
Check for damage: Discontinue use if the pad becomes punctured, torn, or leaks gel.
Not a toy: The Barney Chill Pad is not intended for chewing. If your pet attempts to chew, remove the pad immediately.
For pet use only: Keep away from children.
Keep away from: open flames, candles, fireplaces, and heat-emitting devices.

*Free shipping for orders over $300 applies to the contiguous US only (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico). Orders under $300 will incur a shipping fee of $14.95. Beds in sizes S, M, L and LP always ship free in the contiguous US. XL and XXL beds are oversized items: delivery is $79 per XL bed and $99 per XXL bed. Zip covers, Barneycles Towel Covers, Butter Slip Covers, Furfy and spare foam parts ship in their own parcel, which has its own delivery fee: $19.95 per order.

For Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, shipping is calculated at checkout.

We also offer international shipping to Canada & Mexico. Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout based on your location. We are pleased to cover all duties and taxes for orders destined to Canada. Please note duties and taxes will apply for orders destined to Mexico.

All in-stock items are typically dispatched within 2 business days outside of sale periods and usually arrive within 2–⁠5 business days after dispatch, depending on your location. We use UPS and FedEx for all our orders. Please note: During sale periods, dispatch times may be delayed by up to 10 business days due to high order volumes. We appreciate your patience as our team works hard to get your order out as quickly as possible.

Returns & Exchanges

Change-of-mind returns must be requested within 14 days of the delivery date. The Chill Pad must be unused, free from dog hair and in brand-new condition to be eligible for a refund or exchange.
