Introducing our Linen Stripe Collection in Rhubarb and Lemongrass (coming soon!), an elevated take on everyday comfort for your dog’s Barney Bed. Crafted from 100% natural flax linen, these covers are soft and breathable, making them ideal for summer comfort. Designed with a fitted look for your BarneyCurl Bed, each cover features our premium YKK zips, making it easy to remove and wash. The base is finished with our non-slip backing to help keep the bed in place. The tonal stripe design brings a playful look to your home, while the natural linen softens beautifully with every wash. Each cover is backed with a light polyester lining for added durability and tailored to perfectly fit your BarneyCurl Bed - just select the matching size. Please note, as linen is a natural fibre, it is more delicate than our other covers. If your dog tends to scratch their bed, we recommend choosing a different cover, as the natural linen is not suitable for scratching.

About the Barney Covers

How do I fit the cover on my Barney Bed?

There are two types of Barney Bed Covers; Zip Covers and Slip-On Covers.

Zip Covers replace your original Barney Bed cover and create a fitted look. You need to remove the memory foam mattress and chin rests from the original cover and reinsert them into the new cover. Check out our video tutorial to help fit your Zip Cover here.

Slip-On Covers slip over your Barney Bed’s original cover like a fitted sheet and create a relaxed look. The elastic base on the cover makes popping your cover on and off easy so, washing your Barney Bed cover is simpler than ever. Check out our video tutorial to help fit your Slip-On Cover here.

Are the covers waterproof?

No, our covers are not waterproof as we designed them to be as comfy and soft as possible and waterproof materials are not often comfy to the touch. We have, however, designed the covers to be super easy to remove and wash whenever needed. 

We created the Waterproof Lining Kit which you can fit over the memory foam pieces inside your Barney Bed - just like your own mattress protector, which will fully protect your Barney Bed from water/pee accidents. Our Original Barney Bed comes with a Water-Resistant Lining, and the Waterproof Lining Kit can be purchased separately here. Our BarneyCurl Bed comes with the Waterproof Lining Kit included. 

Can I get the Barney Bed with a different cover?

The Barney Bed is sold in its original gray cover. Any additional covers are sold separately. 

I fit the cover on my bed, why doesn’t it look fitted like the photos online?

Sounds like you have a cover with a zip! The original cover needs to be fully removed before you attempt to fit the new cover. To do this, remove the memory foam mattress and chin rests from the original gray cover and reinsert them into the new cover. Please watch this video for step-by-step instructions.

Care Instructions

Our Slip Covers are designed to fit on and off your Barney Bed super easily, which makes washing a breeze! To wash, simply take the cover off your Barney Bed and wash on a cold, gentle machine wash. Do not use bleach or any harsh chemicals. Wash with similar colors. Air dry your cover in the shade inside out. Do not tumble dry.

*Free shipping for orders over $300 applies to the contiguous US only (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico) and does not apply to XL or XXL beds. Orders under $300 will incur a shipping fee of $14.95.

For Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, we provide low-rate shipping options.

We also offer low rate international shipping to Canada & Mexico. Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout based on your location. We are pleased to cover all duties and taxes for orders destined to Canada. Please note duties and taxes will apply for orders destined to Mexico.

All in-stock items are typically dispatched within 2 business days outside of sale periods and usually arrive within 2–5 business days after dispatch, depending on your location. We use UPS and FedEx for all our orders. Please note: During sale periods, dispatch times may be delayed by up to 10 business days due to high order volumes. We appreciate your patience as our team works hard to get your order out as quickly as possible.

Warranty

We offer a 12-month warranty on covers against manufacturing defects only. This warranty applies to defects due to faulty workmanship or materials. It does not cover normal wear and tear or damages due to rough dog use, which includes but is not limited to; excessive scratching, biting, chewing, digging. Returns & Exchanges

Returns must be requested within 14 days of the delivery date. The cover must be unused, free from dog hair and in brand-new condition to be eligible for a refund or exchange.
